Job Description

Role Overview: Krupp Group is seeking a dynamic individual to lead client accounts in the fashion, accessories, jewelry, and lifestyle markets. We want someone who can oversee and execute day-to-day public relations efforts on behalf of Krupp Group clients and also mentor and manage a supporting team. This person will develop original, out-of-the-box ideas to promote their clients, originate seasonal press strategies and secure larger feature editorial opportunities. We need someone who can lead national influencer initiatives including paid and organic programs, someone who can ideate and produce client activations and events, and ultimately focus on the bigger picture strategy and achieve client goals.

Essential duties:

  • Confidence in developing holistic comms + marketing strategies with a focus on editorial and media relations and influencer/talent relations, but also inclusive of VIP activity and tactics.
  • Brainstorming on new press vehicles, cross-promotion ideas and brand building opportunities for further client promotion
  • Creating a working calendar for each client to keep their PR goals on track for the season
  • Pitching stories and compiling press releases that support client moments to secure larger feature-type / news pieces including but not limited to: brand / designer profile pieces, prominent trend stories, thought leadership and speaking opportunities such as podcasts and summits
  • Managing end-to-end execution of influencer campaigns to support client product launches, services and/or events; including, identifying talent, managing marketing budgets, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget, while also maintaining the highest standards of quality
  • Overseeing execution of all client organic product seeding programs to ensure team meets monthly KPIs and optimizes for organic social placements
  • Consulting on, and at times, copy writing materials for our clients such as: Bios, Interview responses, press releases, media kits, brand decks, etc.
  • Communicating with clients regularly on PR needs: we expect ability to attend and lead client meetings to discuss strategy, progress, and future plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives and addressing any concerns or feedback
  • Managing Account Managers, Account Executives & Coordinators on implementing and evolving processes and new procedures, Client communication, Sample trafficking, Inventory and Press
  • Analyzing media coverage, event attendance, influencer metrics, and other key data, providing actionable insights to optimize future PR efforts.
  • Relation building via Editor/ Stylist Appointments: Conduct seasonal press appointments for each client and Hold showroom appointments
  • Overseeing coordination of all client events including Production and Event logistics, Guests lists, outreach and follow-up to secure attendance, Event recaps and Post-event follow up with attendees
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with media contacts, content creators, agents, stylists, industry notables in order to maximize opportunities for client exposure
  • Reviewing monthly status reports and recaps and ensure they are submitted to clients in a timely manner
  • Auditing industry news, trends, and relevant events to share with clients

Qualifications:

  • Must be NY-based
  • At least 8+ years of experience in fashion and lifestyle PR communications with proven track record of editorial successes and understanding of influencer marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge in global and corporate marketing preferred
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills and excellent writing skills
  • Ability to manage several clients and meet their needs
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook and familiarity with Launchmetrics and MuckRack
