We are looking for a full time Truck Driver, Class B.
- This position is located onsite and is not a remote or hybrid position.
Golden State Lumber is searching for delivery drivers. We focus on selling quality lumber and building materials. This is a high energy, fast paced environment.
Essential Duties Of This Position In addition to driving, this position is also responsible for loading and unloading building materials at select locations. Responsibilities also include maintaining your delivery vehicle and providing assistance in the yard when necessary.
Specific Examples Of Your Duties May Include - Operate multiple styles of flatbed trucks
- Unload & load building materials at various locations.
- Operate a forklift - must be able to obtain a valid forklift certification
- Safely climb in and out of a truck and trailer; sit for extended periods of time in truck and/or forklift
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds
- Able to work in a non-climate controlled facility
Position Requirements - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Possess and maintain a valid Class A or B Driver's License
- Must have a friendly and positive attitude and work well in team environment
- Computer literacy Preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
- Driving records must be able to pass insurance requirements
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Completion of a background check that is satisfactory to the employer
