Job Description

The HT Group is excited to partner with a leading aerospace component manufacturing company in their search for a Sr. Manufacturing Product Manager to join their team in Milpitas, CA on a direct-hire basis. Our client partners with Fortune 500 companies, OEMs, and government agencies across diverse sectors, including semiconductor equipment manufacturing, medical and life sciences, aerospace, energy, and defense. We are seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Product Manager to lead the strategic direction, commercial execution, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of high-performance products within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
This role requires a strategic, influential leader with 5+ years of experience managing the product lifecycle for an aerospace, semiconductor, or medical equipment manufacturing company. It is vital for this candidate to come from a manufacturing background. This position requires a candidate comfortable navigating a closed, self-sufficient site culture, building trust with long-tenured leaders, and driving strategic change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the product roadmap and define lifecycle strategies aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends
- Conduct market, competitive, and customer analyses to identify growth opportunities and influence product positioning
- Lead go-to-market strategies, including pricing, value propositions, and competitive positioning
- Conduct cost modeling and gross margin analysis to drive pricing and profitability strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams through stage-gate or agile development processes to ensure on-time, high-quality launches
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of product management, engineering, or program management experience in semiconductors, aerospace/defense, or medical devices manufacturing required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred
- Strong financial acumen with experience in cost modeling, pricing, and business case development
- Demonstrated success in launching and scaling high-reliability products in regulated industries
- Familiarity with ITAR/EAR compliance and DoD programs
- Knowledge of PLM systems, EPR integrations, and quality management systems
- Proficiency with stage-gate, agile, or hybrid development methodologies
