Job Description

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a QA API Tester for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Banking clients in Auburn Hills, MI or Frisco, TX . Hybrid schedule 2x weekly onsite
Responsibilities :
Design and execute test cases
Design test scenarios, automating tests, and document tests
Design and execute test cases to validate functionality and performance of APIs
Verify API results to ensure they are accurate and meet specified requirements
Required Skills :
Experience in API automation testing using Postman
Proficient in reading and understanding Swagger/OpenAPI specifications
Strong understanding of REST API concepts and request/response validations
Skilled in core QA practices including test planning, test execution, defect logging, and reporting
Capable of handling operational activities such as coordinating deployments and environment validations
Experience in defect triaging and working closely with development and support teams for resolution
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in sprint ceremonies
Hands-on experience with test case management tools and reporting dashboards
Excellent communication skills
Ability to build alliances across the enterprise
