Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare construction projects in the Tampa area. This role requires expertise in managing complex healthcare environments, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
  • Manage procurement, contracts, change orders, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific building codes, AHCA guidelines, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and maintain alignment among all stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and represent the company professionally at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction, with a strong emphasis on ground up healthcare projects.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare construction requirements, including AHCA inspections and infection control protocols.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • AHCA and healthcare facility construction experience in Florida.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • PMP certification or equivalent.
