Part-Time - Patient Access Representative

Pride Health is hiring a Patient Access Representative for one of its clients in Michigan. This is a part-time role .

This is a 2-month contract with competitive pay and benefits.

Location – 37595 7 Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan.

Length of Assignment – 2 months

Shift – Monday to Friday – 1st Shift-part time – 7:30 am-11:30 am

Pay range - $16 - $18.50 per hour.

Job Summary

The main function of a patient access representative is to act as the liaison between the organization and the customer/patient. They will provide product education and handle various questions while ensuring a positive customer service experience.

Job Duties

• Act as a liaison between clients, the customer base, and patients.
• Resolve routine customer requests with products or services via inbound, and outbound calls, or the Internet.
• Speak with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using protocol procedures.
• Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer requirements and understanding of the solution.
• Provide additional customer education and information as needed.
• Qualify and establish inbound new customers requesting client's products and services.
• Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.
• Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Perform administrative support for medical record management, CRM data maintenance, and internal records to assure HIPAA compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Courteous with a strong customer service orientation.
• Understanding of medical terminology used in clinical settings.
