Job Description

Position Summary: One of Insight Global's major clients are seeking a Financial Internal Auditor to support their Accounting, Finance, and Technology team. This individual will be responsible for conducting routine audits or advisory reviews of assigned areas withing the client's organization. Qualified candidates will also be responsible for adherence to Institute of Internal Auditing (IIA) standards. Daily responsibilities include:

• Build and sustain relationships with personnel at all levels across the organization
• Thoroughly perform audit and advisory work and document results and progress in relation to IIA standards
• Formulate insightful questions for audit customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business process being audited
• Clearly present financial analytics to non-financial stakeholders
• Effectively communicate audit observations visually in engagement reports

Required Qualifications / skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-6 years of experience performing financial audits
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or has met the eligibility requirements to sit for the CPA and has plans to obtain license within 2 years of joining the department\
• Proficiency with PowerBI or similar visualization tool
• Knowledge of GAAP standards

• Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance

Compensation:

$100,000 to $110,000 per year annual salary.
