Job Description

Retail industry leader seeking a motivated Junior Instructional Designer to join our Strategic Selling and Learning & Development team. This individual contributor role focuses on writing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning materials that strengthen field associate product knowledge. The ideal candidate combines creativity and precision with a collaborative mindset, supporting initiatives that drive sales performance and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, design, and deliver engaging training content including video scripts, eLearning modules, and print materials.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Revise and update existing learning materials to reflect current strategies and new approaches.
  • Apply instructional design best practices and adult learning principles to create effective training solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills, including listening, probing for understanding, and articulating ideas clearly.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with a team supporting all store learning and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in instructional design, content development, or formal writing.
  • Proficiency with Articulate 360 and Microsoft Office Suite .
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Learning agility and a proactive, self-starter mindset.

Preferred Experience:

  • Retail or field learning experience.
  • Familiarity with eLearning development tools and Learning Management Systems.
