Title: Engineering Project Coordinator
Location: Onsite in Sunnyvale, CA or Redmond, WA
Duration: 12 months
Compensation: $37 - $47/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Summary:
The main function of a project coordinator is to support project manager and project teams on a project. The coordinator ensures that no resources are being allocated to unnecessary tasks and that all aspects of the project are completed as quickly as possible.
Job Responsibilities:
● Establishes and assembles project teams, and coordinates activities.
● Develops detailed work plans, project estimates, status reports, project tracking and analysis.
● Performs economic and other analysis as required to achieve the best least cost.
● Manages critical milestones throughout the project to ensure the best customer experience.
● Partner with Technical Program Managers (TPM) and Engineering to support Wearables program(s) execution and delivery.
● Coordinate hardware distribution efforts including logistics activities, inventory management, and allocation collections.
● Support budget tracking and forecasting, including requesting purchase orders, ensuring timely invoice submission, and partnering with cross functional teams to drive forecast accuracy.
Skills:
- Support Procurement including PO issues, tracking and shipping logistics
- Support internal hardware devices allocation and distribution
- Partner with Technical Program Managers and Engineering Leads for Budget management
- Support build matrix development
- Support hardware bill of materials (BOM) management and Engineering Changes
Requirements:
- Experience in procurement - issuing and managing POs
- Experience in distribution logistics
- Some background in managing budget
- Proficient in using spreadsheets, PowerPoint slide decks
- Managing BOM
- Work under minimum guidance
- Attention to details
- Track record on budget management
- Previous experience working with APAC vendors
- Proficient in using office tools like excel and power point
