Business Analyst - Junior

Primary Location: Raleigh, North Carolina

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Business Analyst - Junior for our premier client in Raleigh, North Carolina .

Education And Experience »

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on application portfolio management, business architecture, and/or IT strategy.
• Proven experience in app rationalization or business architecture efforts, especially in large, complex organizations or public sector environments.
• Strong understanding of business processes, systems integration, and the software development lifecycle.
• An overall knowledge and understanding of application development.: 3 Years.
• Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts.: 3 Years.
• Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products.: 3 Years.
• Able to identify best practices and standards for the use of the product.: 3 Years.
• Delivers support and design for industry specific applications that require integration with statewide systems or applications.: 3 Years.
• Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.: 3 Years.
• Proven experience with a technical specialty across large and complex implementations and systems.: 3 Years.

What You’ll Do

Job Responsibilities:

App Rationalization

• Analyze the lifecycle, performance, and value of existing applications to guide decisions on retirement, consolidation, replacement, or optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the current application portfolio, identifying redundant, obsolete, or underutilized systems.
• Support the development of roadmaps and strategies to streamline the application portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology standards.

Business Architecture Support

• Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements, system dependencies, and pain points in current workflows.
• Assist in the creation and documentation of business architecture models, aligning business processes with technology solutions.
• Ensure that technology solutions and application rationalization efforts align with the overall business architecture framework.
