Job Title: Wiring Technician

Schedule: First Shift, 8 Hours | Weekend Availability Required

Type: Contract with potential to convert to permanent

Overview:

We are seeking a Wiring Technician to support the assembly and wiring of OEM automated machinery. This role offers the chance to be part of a growing manufacturing environment while working on innovative equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform panel, enclosure, and field wiring under minimal supervision
• Read and follow electrical/controls schematics and wiring diagrams
• Label wires, cables, and components for proper traceability
• Maintain inventory accuracy during component use
• Support installation, start-up, qualification, and debugging of new automation
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience in wiring and crimping within an OEM environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Basic computer skills (MS Office) and strong communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Preferred Skills:

• Experience wiring OEM equipment and troubleshooting electrical systems
• Familiarity with typical panel components (PLCs, drives, power supplies, etc.)
• Knowledge of actuators and sensors used in automated equipment
