About the Role
Break Boss Cards & Collectibles is seeking a high-energy, passionate Whatnot Breaker to join our team and help take our live-stream experience to the next level. You’ll host live shows on Whatnot (approx. 40 hrs/week), lead the creative direction of breaks and content, and bring contagious energy to every stream.
Please note: This is a commission-based position only — your income directly reflects your performance and sales during live streams. Top performers have the opportunity to earn significant weekly commissions and bonuses based on results.
Big opportunity alert: You could potentially break live from the Whatnot Stage at The National Sports Collectors Convention (July 2026) — giving you national exposure and a key role in our brand’s continued growth.
• Host and manage live Whatnot streams (approx. 40 hrs/week)
• Engage viewers with strong product knowledge, enthusiasm, and on-camera presence
• Create and manage show listings on Whatnot — titles, descriptions, break formats, visuals
• Define which breaks run, when, and how (personals, PYTs, do-it-alls, etc.) — your input matters
• Collaborate with the content/ops team to improve stream flow, camera setup, and viewer experience
• Promote upcoming streams and specials on social platforms
• Track key metrics (viewers, sales per hour, engagement) and continuously improve
Requirements• Deep knowledge of sports cards, the hobby, trending products, and breaks
• Prior live-breaking or selling experience is a strong plus
• Comfortable and confident being on camera — your energy is infectious
• Familiarity with the Whatnot platform (show creation, listings, break setup)
• Creative mindset with ideas for show formats and audience growth
• Reliable streaming schedule and exceptional communication skills
• Basic tech competence (webcams, mic/audio setup, lighting)
• Knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets is a plus for tracking performance
• Team-oriented attitude, proactive, and ready to grow with the brand
