Job Description

Job Title: Welding Engineer

Location: Itasca, IL

Pay Rate: $35-40/Hr+OT

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Welding Engineer to join our client's organization in the Itasca, IL area.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, troubleshoot, and optimize OTC robotic welding systems.
Design welding processes, fixtures, and tooling.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance of OTC robotic systems.
Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams.
Ensure all welding operations comply with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in welding engineering, focusing on robotic systems (OTC preferred).
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and materials science.
Proficiency in OTC robotic programming and software.
Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred.
