Job Title: Welding Engineer

Location: Itasca, IL

Pay Rate: $35-40/Hr+OT

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Welding Engineer to join our client's organization in the Itasca, IL area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize OTC robotic welding systems.
• Design welding processes, fixtures, and tooling.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance of OTC robotic systems.
• Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams.
• Ensure all welding operations comply with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in welding engineering, focusing on robotic systems (OTC preferred).
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and materials science.
• Proficiency in OTC robotic programming and software.
• Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred.
