About The Internship

We are looking for motivated students in the New York area to be part of our 2026 Summer Internship program. We are a vibrant, high-energy, and growing organization where every member is a key contributor. Break free from traditional internships - at Webull, you will have the opportunity to gain real life experience by engaging in genuine one-on-one learning experiences with team members in each of our departments.

In This Internship, You Will:

Be given the opportunity to support the organization while learning about a career at Webull, sitting side by side with the team members who have made Webull successful. Throughout the 10-week paid program you will rotate through 4 different departments to expose you to all sides of the broker-dealer business:

• The Operations/Banking team is the crossroads where all departments meet. The Operations team deals with the full life cycle of a trade and all post trade events, clearance and settlements. Our group of skilled veterans work seamlessly with every team at Webull.
• The Product team is the bridge between innovation and execution. They define the vision for Webull’s trading platforms and work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams to bring new ideas to life. From concept to launch, the Product team drives feature development, user experience, and platform optimization to deliver seamless, intuitive tools for retail investors around the world. Their work ensures Webull remains a dynamic, data-driven fintech leader focused on empowering users through technology.
• The Compliance team is dedicated to the breakdown and understanding of current and future regulations and laws and applying them to an ever-changing landscape. In addition, they are also involved in day-to-day supervision and regulatory oversight. They review supervision of brokerage activities, WSP’s and procedure creation and testing, licensing and registration, regulatory interpretation and response, governmental inquiries, associated member oversight, and much more.
• The Margin & Risk team is key to the daily function of the retail trading functions. They use Risk Prevention and Risk Monitoring techniques to ensure that enterprise risk is protected as well as our client’s accounts by analyzing all parts of the business from trading patterns to derivative products, to client account security, and even generating risk models. The team deals with important functions in the retail trading space such as: Margin or leverage, Options Trading, market risk analysis, big data, and financial models.

The Skills You Bring

• You are a rising Senior/current undergraduate student majoring in Finance, Economics, or any Business related major.
• You have an interest in the FinTech industry and an eagerness to learn and grow.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – you’re great at building relationships.
• You take initiative and are proactive in your approach to challenges.
• You’re detail-oriented, dependable, and consistently conscientious in your work.
• A creative problem solver with the ability to think outside the box.

What Makes You Stand Out

• You have obtained or are currently studying for your SIE
• You have previous experience interning at a financial firm/broker dealer
• You are a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
