Job Description

The HT Group is seeking a Warehouse Attendant to support the day-to-day operations of our clients tool room and warehouse. This contract-to-hire position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with occasional Saturdays and some schedule flexibility) and pays $15–$18 per hour, for an average of 35–40 hours per week. The Warehouse Attendant will assist the Warehouse Manager by organizing, maintaining, and tracking industrial tools and equipment to ensure they are ready for immediate deployment.
Please note: this position is located exclusively at our clients warehouse facility and is not in a refinery setting.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming tools, consumables, parts, and equipment
Maintain and re-stock warehouse inventory, performing regular cycle counts and ensuring tracking accuracy
Inspect tools for proper working condition and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed
Keep the warehouse and tool room clean, organized, and compliant with safety policies
Assist with preparing and staging industrial tool trailers for field projects
Safely work in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, outdoor exposure)
Support general warehouse operations, including receiving, labeling, and other tasks as needed
Requirements:
Forklift experience required
1–2 years of experience in an industrial warehouse or tool room environment preferred
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment used in maintenance, welding, pipefitting, mechanical repair, or construction
Basic computer skills and experience with inventory tracking systems a plus
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be dependable, teachable, and hardworking with a strong “Can-Do” attitude and thrives in a fast-paced environment
