Job Description Park Nicollet is looking to hire an Vascular Sonographer to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Autonomously performs complex diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures and physiologic procedures under the supervision of the Vascular Lab Supervisor, as well as the Vascular Surgeons, for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of vascular disease. Office responsibilities: Keep accurate daily Patient Logs, help maintain the Data Check software registry entries, help in ordering supplies, help maintain IAC accreditations.
Schedule Required Qualifications - Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- RVT certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- The sonographer must demonstrate an aptitude for human anatomy and physiology, particularly as these areas relate to the peripheral, visceral, and cardiovascular systems.
- They should use sound judgement in administrating tests and documenting observations.
- The sonographer must be able to work independently.
- The ability to exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
