/ Coating Technician / Metal Finishing Tech

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

My client is seeking a detail-driven Thermal Spray Technician to support critical surface coating operations used in aerospace, marine, and industrial applications. What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepping and applying thermal spray coatings on metal parts
• Assisting with lathe operations and basic machining tasks
• Using micrometers and calipers for precision measurements
• Sandblasting and cleaning components for surface prep
• Supporting quality control checks and equipment upkeep

About You

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment (heat, PPE, heavy lifting)
• Able to wear a respirator and pass physical evaluations
• Prior experience with metal shop tools or sandblasting is a plus
• Open to working 2nd shift and adapting to shifting priorities
