Therapist (Inpatient) Opportunity

Saint Simons By-the-Sea is a 101-bed psychiatric and addictive disease hospital for adults and adolescents. We strive to provide quality mental health treatment and addiction treatment services in the area. The Therapist collaborates with all members of the treatment team and provides clinical supervision, guidance and developmental support for program staff, and clinical structure and guidance for the treatment team. The Therapist provides group, family and individual sessions for acute care patients as indicated.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of all initial assessments for assigned patient group. Completes psychosocial history on all assigned patients. This may include notification of other disciplines when there are noticeable omissions in the record and contacting patient's support system to obtain additional information.
• Assures that the master treatment plan is developed within 72 hours of admission of the assigned patient population.
• Ensures that all assigned patients have an individualized crisis plan developed.
• Provides clinical oversight to assure that treatment plan interventions are followed.
• Maintains collaboration with Admission Department to provide clinical support for initial screenings. Provides appropriate back up for assessments when there is need.
• Ensures that group therapy, individual therapy and family therapy coverage is provided in accordance with schedule and needs of assigned patients.

Requirements

• Licensed (or license eligible) Clinician in the state of GA
• Must have experience of 1+ year
• Computer proficient with previous heavy data entry experience
• Experience in inpatient setting preferred
