Position: Terminal Manager Reporting to the General Manager for a premier organization focusing on intermodal and drayage transportation services. The organization has over 15 years of experience servicing the greater southeast markets with 170 plus drivers and 6 terminal locations. With an emphasis on professionalism, customer service, and teamwork the company has developed a superior reputation and is poised for continued growth.
The Terminal Manager is the senior leader in the terminal and is responsible for the overall operation of the facility including operations, customer service, financial performance, and employee development. They will lead the terminal staff to ensure the company’s goals and objectives are met while creating a productive and safe environment for employees and vendors. They are continuously assessing service delivery to make sure customer expectations are exceeded. Oversee distribution of transportation work. Evaluate transportation services, and implement changes where needed to improve service and contain cost. Act decisively to resolve problems. Ensure facility is always managed and operating properly for full productivity with the goal of scaling growth.
