Job Description

Location: Remote

Anticipated Duration: 6-week contract with extensions possible

Position Description:

  1. In collaboration with the OOH, complete the writing and design of a publicly available report and a one-page fact sheet/summary for dissemination utilizing previously analyzed data from the statewide needs assessment that describes the target audience, the challenges facing the dental workforce, and recommendations for public health policies and initiatives to strengthen and increase the dental workforce.
  2. Perform technical research related to public health recommendations and evidence-based practices to strengthen the dental workforce.
  3. Summarize analyzed data, including charts, graphs, maps and tables provided by the OOH into a technical report.
  4. Develop focus group and key informant interview questions to assist the OOH in obtaining feedback from selected statewide stakeholders to support the development of public health recommendations for strengthening and supporting the dental workforce.
  5. Incorporate feedback gathered in focus groups and information gathered in technical research into the written document.

Need for an individual with the following experience:

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Publisher, and design software.
  2. Ability to perform technical research, write clearly and document work.
  3. Solid analytical, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  4. Experience designing focus groups and incorporating feedback into technical reports and recommendations.
  5. Experience summarizing relevant data, charts, tables, graphs and maps into written reports.
  6. Experience managing projects under supervision and guidance.
  7. Ability to work remotely effectively or be able to work onsite if needed.
  8. Performing related duties as required.
  9. Bachelor’s Degree

Additional preferred skills:

  1. Experience using team collaboration environments such as Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.
  2. Knowledge of public health data collection and surveillance.
  3. Attention to detail
