Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking to fulfill two positions Technical Product Manager (TPM) for Goertek Alpha-Labs to lead VR/VR product portfolios. The ideal candidate will define product vision, strategy, and roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technology research and product objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct product, market, and user research, including competitive analysis and customer needs assessment to understand market and user needs.
  • Analyze research data to identify actionable insights and recommendations for product improvements.
  • Synthesize research findings into user personas, journey maps, and other relevant artifacts.
  • Advocate for market and user needs and ensure they are prioritized throughout the technology research and development process.
  • Building relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Creating XR technology research strategy documents detailing customer problems, use cases, business plans, technical requirements, and ROI.
  • Translating strategy into technology research requirements and specifications for prototyping.
  • Monitoring product performance and owning business metrics.
  • Leading public communication initiatives and serving as a product/technology expert.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of XR research projects and business.
  • Strong understanding of XR hardware and software technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA desired.
  • 8+ years in technical product management, strategy, or research.
  • Proven track record in launching and managing XR products.
  • Proficiency in product management tools and document creation.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Direct engineering collaboration experience.
  • XR market research and competitive analysis experience.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with a customer-focused mindset.
  • The base pay range for this role is between $140,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
  • Experience conducting various user research methods (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Roadmap strategy and XR product definition experience.
  • New technology R&D leadership.
  • 3+ years building customer relationships in XR.
  • Business analysis or process improvement experience.
  • Fluent in conversational Mandarin.
