Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's tax compliance, planning, and reporting functions. The Tax Manager will assist the Tax Director in managing all aspects of the tax function.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the organization's tax liability
• Research tax technical issues, analyze impact to the organization and prepare memorandum for audit and tax purposes.
• Prepare tax provision calculations, supporting analysis and tax disclosures for quarterly and annual SEC filings.
• Monitor SOX 404 control procedures for the corporate tax functions and prepare / review audit documentations.
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relations.
• Assist with tax audits and resolve any tax-related disputes

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• 5+ years of experience in tax accounting or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Solid understanding of tax laws and regulations
