Position Summary

We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in the design, acquisition, development, and implementation of advanced systems solutions for our defense clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the success of critical defense programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for complex systems engineering projects.
  • Design, develop, and integrate system architectures and solutions in accordance with DoD standards and regulations.
  • Conduct systems engineering activities, including requirements analysis, system design, integration, testing, and validation.
  • Perform risk management and mitigation activities to ensure project success and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure proper configuration management and documentation of system designs, requirements, and changes.
  • Support the development of technical proposals, including writing technical sections and participating in proposal reviews.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in systems engineering and apply them to project work.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and processes.
  • Familiarity with DoD standards, regulations, and common practices
  • MUST possess a current TS/SCI clearance
  • Knowledge of systems modeling and simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment.
  • Experience with requirements analysis, system design, integration, testing, and validation.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
