Job Description:

• This position is for a Systems Analyst with expertise in healthcare claims processing and requires an in-depth knowledge of the data related to all functional areas of the MMIS or a similar large-scale claims system. The candidate must be able to work with minimum supervision and have the ability to successfully interact with multiple technical and user groups. Responsibilities include supporting ongoing releases, enhancements, and production defect fixes.
• Key experience required:
• Data Conversion, mapping rules and validation
• ETL design and Programming logic
• Teradata experience (required)
• Mainframes and DB2 experience (preferred)

Testing Responsibilities

• Proficiency in coordination, direction, and procedures for all testing phases of a multi-vendor, large-scale software system
• Responsible for:
• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• End-to-End Testing (E2E) for MMIS and MES modules
• Testing of configured Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications
• Conversion and integration of data from other systems in Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES Modules and COTS products)
• Manage defect triage calls with multiple vendors; track defects to closure in a timely fashion
• Develop test cases, test data, and verify software changes
• Problem solve escalated issues and serve as liaison between developers and business users
• Communicate and report test results and progress to stakeholders, including:
• Test Summary
• Execution Metrics
• UAT Defects (escalation and tracking through resolution)
• Maintain historical UAT testing information

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to meet deadlines with high integrity, professionalism, customer service, and motivation
• Significant experience managing UAT and coordinating with multiple systems, vendors, and teams
• Teradata query experience (required)
• Mainframe testing experience (preferred)
