Job Title: Construction Superintendent (Commercial/Residential)

Reports To: Project Manager / Construction Manager

Job Summary:

NOW HIRING Construction Superintendent to oversee daily operations for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either commercial or residential construction , a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all on-site construction activities and subcontractors to ensure project is built according to plans, specifications, and codes.
• Coordinate scheduling of trades, deliveries, and inspections.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and clean job site.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and progress; provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
• Conduct site meetings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
• Maintain detailed daily reports and documentation of job site activities.
• Identify and resolve any potential issues or delays quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure quality control standards are consistently met throughout the construction process.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in commercial or residential projects.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
