Job Description

Our client seeks a Stockroom Supervisor to oversee the inventory cycle count program, ensuring inventory accuracy and reconciling for inaccurate inventory to improve material management continuously. The Warehouse Supervisor will manage a team, maintain inventory control, ensure safe and efficient storage of components, and support the production department with timely deliveries of materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and excellent leadership skills.

Job Function:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and parts.
• Ensure the accurate and timely execution of shipments and deliveries to meet production schedules and customer demands.
• Manage a team of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure the accuracy of stock records.
• Collaborate closely with the procurement and production teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to guarantee a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Optimize warehouse space and workflow to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and minimize operational costs.
• Maintain proper documentation of all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to coordinate the timely delivery and receipt of materials.
• Resolve issues related to damaged goods, discrepancies, or delayed shipments.

Job Requirement:

Qualifications/Competencies

• High school diploma (Associates Degree or higher in a relevant field preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Experience working in a stockroom or material management
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Knowledge of industry safety and compliance standards is a plus.
