The Opportunity

As the Staff Product Designer at Functionize, you will be at the forefront of crafting intuitive and engaging experiences for our enterprise customers. We’re looking for a creative, hands-on product design leader who’s excited to roll up their sleeves and drive product innovation from zero to one. In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and users to design elegant, practical solutions that solve real-world problems—and help define the future of our platform.

What You'll Own

• Own end-to-end design for major product features—taking ideas from rough sketches to polished, production-ready experiences.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and users to deeply understand problems and co-create smart solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma that bring clarity and momentum to the product process.
• Help define and evolve our design system to keep the product cohesive and efficient to build.
• Run usability tests, gather feedback, and iterate quickly based on learnings.
• Champion clean, user-focused design that balances technical constraints with business needs.

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS or developer tools.
• A strong portfolio that shows your process and impact, especially on complex or technical products.
• Fluency in Figma (and maybe a few favorite plugins you swear by).
• Solid UX chops, with a sharp eye for visual design and details that matter.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and working in a fast-paced, scrappy environment.
• Familiarity with test automation technologies is a plus.
