**Lead Sr. Fire Protection Design Engineer - Dulles, VA**

Are you an experienced engineering professional passionate about building safety and fire protection? Our client in the dynamic Building Services sector is seeking a talented **Sr. Fire Protection Design Engineer** to join their team on a permanent basis in Dulles, Virginia.

This role not only offers the chance to work on impactful projects but also provides leadership opportunities by directing less-experienced engineers within your field of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering design for specific fire protection projects.
- Supervision or direction of workflow for junior engineers.
- Documentation production oversight for both small-scale and large project initiatives.

Required Skills & Expertise:
  • Four-year degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years experience.
  • PE License required.
  • Excellent knowledge of applicable systems design, as well as general understanding of other trade/system operations.
  • Ability to read construction documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communication with all levels of employees, clients and general contractors.
  • Strong public speaking skill.
  • Strong computer skills, including Revit and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel.
