• Amergis Educational Staffing is proud to partner with a school in Norfolk County to hire Special Education Paraprofessionals for the 2025–2026 school year!

• ?? Position Details

• • Location: Norfolk Count
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:20 AM – 3:20 PM
  • Duration: Full 2025–2026 School Year
  • Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour - based on experience

• ?? Role Responsibilities

• • Provide direct support to students in 1:1 and small group settings
  • Assist with behavior support plans and academic activities
  • Collect and record data on student behavior and progress

• ? Ideal Candidate Has

• • Experience in Special Education and Behavioral Support
  • Comfort working with students with high needs and behavioral challenges
  • Skills in de-escalation , data collection , and behavior tracking
  • Patience, flexibility, and a calm demeanor in dynamic environments
  • Willingness to support other students and classrooms as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
