Job Description

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Software Developer to join their team! This position is located in Tempe, Arizona.

Duties:

  • Build automated unit and integration tests
  • Create efficient and reusable code with extensive test coverage
  • Integrate third-party APIs
  • Design, implement, and enhance multiple microservices
  • Maintain strong coding, compliance, and security standards
  • Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
  • Perform code reviews and PRs as needed
  • Design and develop software solutions that meet product and platform specifications
  • Development tasks include integration with other applications, services, APIs, and databases
  • Ensure the team’s software works well in its testing and live environment
  • Coordinate with product owners to refine specifications and deliverables
  • Work with other technical leaders and team leads in the broader organization to define, schedule, and prioritize work
  • Ensure that the team’s technical product documentation is always complete, accurate, and coherent
  • Define, lead, and encourage continuous improvement of the team’s delivery and development processes
  • Work closely with DevOps to implement and execute release tools and best practices

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development
  • Proficient in developing backend services using core PHP
  • Skilled in writing SQL queries to support transactional logic and data operations
  • Experienced in writing unit and integration tests
  • Strong debugging skills and ability to analyze and resolve application flow issues

The approximate pay range for this position is between $37.00 and $53.00 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
