Who You Are

The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in daily content creation, community management, and ambassador outreach. This position is instrumental in accelerating the brand vision for That’s it. across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, X, and YouTube, with a primary focus on storytelling and crafting engaging content. The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in product photography and video content creation.

You're a highly motivated and creative individual with a passion for connecting with current and potential fans of That's it. In this role, you will actively engage with our community, cultivate our online reputation, and harness existing creative content to establish a genuine connection with the brand. The individual in this role will oversee the company’s social media accounts, focussing on organic content, community engagement, ambassador/influencer outreach, and brand management. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Orchestrating the day-to-day execution of social media activities, including content posting and community management.
  • Customizing content and strategies for each platform, taking into account the preferences and behaviors of each platform along with each product line and its defined segmented audiences.
  • Take ownership of the content calendar and collaborate with the design team to develop visually compelling content.
  • Growing the followers and engagement rate across social channels and setting quarterly goals for each
  • Cultivating relationships with industry influencers, media contacts, and customers through social media interactions.
  • Implementing a monthly content editorial calendar and regular social publishing schedule to organize content and strategize timely marketing and PR campaigns.
  • Establishing and fostering our ambassador fan program across social channels as well as Email.
  • Amplifying PR coverage across relevant social channels
  • Staying current on social trends, pop culture, platform updates, competitors, and best practices to ensure our social media efforts remain current and effective.
  • Collaborating closely with creative and advertising counterparts to align strategies and messaging.
  • Analyzing performance metrics on a weekly basis and offering optimization recommendations based on data insights.

What You’ll Need

  • 4+ years of experience in social media and content creation, preferably within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Strong desire for in-person collaboration, as this role requires 100% in-office presence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, or communications.
  • Proficiency in understanding pop culture, emerging trends, and best practices across various social media platforms.
  • Excellent content creation skills, both photography and video, with knowledge creator tools such as Canva, Audacy, Adobe, CapCut, etc)
  • A customer-first mindset, responding to dm's and comments in a thoughtful and timely manner
  • Familiarity with social media management/listening tools (i.e Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc)
  • Knowledge and application of social media best practices and emerging trends.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, as evidenced by work samples.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage social media to drive conversion, sales, and awareness and growth.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, self-starter mindset.
  • Capacity to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving KPIs and continually optimizing campaigns.
  • Passion for the healthy food and beverage categories is a plus.
