Role: Senior Mechanical Engineering Lead
Location: REMOTE in Arizona
PR: $50-57/hr
Duration: 9 month contract to hire
Required Skills & Experience
5-10 years of experience in metals manufacturing, with a diverse background in welding, grinding, heat treating, and assembly. Strong understanding of automation and mechatronics. Proven experience working in multiple industries (aerospace, medical, automotive, or similar industries.) Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
Job Description
Review incoming quotes, determine viability, and identify necessary processes to align with business strategy. Troubleshoot machine and component issues, ensuring efficient and reliable operations. Collaborate with the global team to determine the best suppliers and manage RFQs. Ensure alignment with business goals and make logical decisions regarding supplier capabilities. Participate in the design, tooling, and logistics processes as needed. Some travel to international locations (China, Malaysia, Turkey) as required (can expect 1 to 2 times a year).
