Senior Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale, long-term engineering initiatives focused on optimizing mechanical systems and components
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions
• Design experiments, lead feasibility studies, and implement engineering solutions that enhance performance, efficiency and quality
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and production teams to drive projects forward, share expertise and guide maintenance teams through complex challenges
• Develop and document SOPs for new solutions, ensuring consistency and reliability across operations
• Spearhead improvement projects to reduce scrap rates, increase throughput, and eliminate inefficiencies

Senior Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, plus 6+ years of experience tackling tough manufacturing challenges.
• Hands-on experience optimizing equipment, processes, and materials with advanced knowledge of thermoforming, injection molding, and other production techniques.
• Skilled in statistical and quality methodologies like SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and DOE.
• Expertise in technical plans, blueprints, and the practical application of engineering principles.
• Strong verbal and written skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse teams.
• Exceptional ability to juggle priorities and manage complex projects with minimal supervision.
