Senior Loss Control Specialist -St. Petersburg, FL

This is a pivotal role for an experienced Loss Control professional eager to shape underwriting strategies and improve risk practices for small business clients.

Requirements:
- 5–7+ years in loss control or commercial risk management
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Engineering, or related field
- Industry certifications preferred: CFSP, ARM, CSP, or CRM
- Strong knowledge of BOP and Builders Risk coverages
- Familiarity with construction safety, NFPA/IBC codes, and OSHA standards
Description:
- Conduct on-site and virtual risk assessments for small commercial and construction clients
- Analyze inland marine risks including equipment and goods in transit
- Manage third-party inspection vendors and validate their reports
- Create detailed loss control reports with risk ratings and documentation
- Develop actionable risk mitigation plans for policyholders
- Collaborate with underwriters, agents, and brokers to guide risk decisions
- Provide expertise on Builders Risk and related exposures
