Technical Lead, Front-End Development, React, AI Product, Remote

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and mentor a team of Front-end developers in an agile environment.
  • Design and maintain high-quality, reusable front-end code using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure the technical quality of the front-end codebase.
  • Architect front-end systems focused on performance and scalability.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend their adoption.
  • Take ownership of features from start to finish as needed.
  • Contribute to user interfaces integrated with computer vision or AI-driven components.

What are the minimum qualifications?

  • Over 8+ years of experience in front-end development, particularly with a focus on React.js, including Hooks, Context, Redux, and component-based architectures.
  • Experience in successfully leading front-end development teams, including managing projects.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and responsive design principles.
  • A comprehensive understanding of front-end tooling, along with experience in testing frameworks.
  • Proven track record of delivering user-centric applications in production environments.
  • Skillful at balancing immediate priorities with the long-term health and scalability of the codebase.

What will make your résumé stand out?

  • Experience in integrating or developing user interfaces for computer vision, augmented reality, or AI-driven applications.
  • Familiarity with 3D rendering, WebGL, or visualization libraries would be seen as a significant advantage.

Location: Remote, headquarters in Dallas, TX. Prefer candidates living in Texas.

Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: 160k - 175K
