Principal Financial Analyst – IT Finance

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Principal Financial Analyst to support our Information Technology (IT) function within the finance team. This role is fast-paced and highly collaborative, working closely with IT leadership to drive financial planning, investment analysis, and cost optimization . Your insights will be key in maximizing technology investments and ensuring alignment with the company’s financial strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis – Lead IT budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Investment Analysis – Evaluate IT investments, assessing ROI and strategic fit.
• Cost Optimization – Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
• Process Improvement – Enhance financial processes for greater accuracy and efficiency.
• Performance Monitoring – Develop and track KPIs to measure IT financial performance.
• Executive Reporting – Prepare and present financial insights to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications preferred.
• Experience – 7+ years in financial analysis, with IT finance experience a plus.
• Technical Skills – Strong financial modeling and data analysis expertise; proficiency in Excel and Power BI .
• Analytical Mindset – Ability to interpret complex financial data and deliver actionable insights.
• Communication – Strong verbal and written skills to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail – Accuracy and compliance with financial regulations are essential.

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience, education, location, certifications, and other factors. Expected salary range: $100K to $150K .
