Job Description

Salary: $109,000 - 146,000 per year Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a relevant field is preferred.
• A minimum of fifteen years of experience in designing or selling building systems, energy modeling, construction, or facility management. We will consider candidates with less experience and offer a position at a lower level.
• I acknowledge that I will maintain relevant professional certifications and licenses (e.g., Professional Engineering license).
• I will actively engage in relevant professional organizations and take on leadership roles within those groups.

• I will lead the Development Team on large, complex, high-risk projects, working under minimal supervision to meet department and project goals.
• I will provide technical, process, or financial assistance during the design phase and help develop the customer business case for conceptual solutions.
• I will lead preliminary data collection and modeling for assigned opportunities and oversee the detailed development of large projects exceeding $2 million.
• I will validate assumptions made during solution design, build a detailed budget and scope, and collaborate with the operations team and external partners to develop project estimates and scopes of work.
• I will utilize my specialized functional expertise as a development team member, demonstrating a high degree of technical competence across multiple areas and taking responsibility for all aspects of large projects.
• I will understand the full range of offerings and their applications in customer solutions, devising alternative options to meet specific program requirements.
• I will conduct detailed engineering or financial analyses to quantify cost savings or other customer benefits and assist in technical or financial benchmarking as needed.
• I will provide risk analysis for the complete solution, lead portions of presentations to C-level or economic clients, and represent the development team during operational reviews of large or technically complex programs.
• I will be accountable for creating and managing budgets, timelines, and quality for assigned opportunities and will fully utilize the Solutions Playbook and other tools in my tasks and mentoring efforts.
• I will develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and mid-level technical and financial managers at facilities.
• I will keep current with relevant engineering or design standards and practices and may provide post-contract design review support.
• I will promote and adhere to safety policies and perform other related duties as necessary.
