Job Description

EEC / EPLAN Standardization & Engineering Automation

• Lead deployment and integration of EPLAN Engineering Configurator (EEC) to automate workflows.
• Ensure seamless integration of EEC, EPLAN, CPQ, Quoter, and shop floor operations.
• Develop Engineering Design Guidelines for standardizing custom controls and improving panel lines.
• Collaborate with teams to align SOPs, quality manuals, and best practices.
• Oversee revision control and documentation processes.
• Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, etc.).

Control Panel Design & Development

• Design scalable control panel solutions using EPLAN suite, integrated with corporate systems.
• Ensure designs comply with UL508A, UL698A, NEC, NFPA, and other standards.
• Manage revision and approval processes, ensuring updates are documented and communicated.
• Specify and select electrical components, sensors, drives, and instrumentation.
  

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

10+ years in control panel design, industrial automation, and product management.
Expert in EPLAN/EEC for schematic design and automation tools.
Strong knowledge of motors, VFDs, instrumentation, SCADA, DCS, IIOT, and industrial communication protocols.
Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing electrical/control systems.
Experience with cybersecurity for industrial environments.
Familiar with IP protection and filing.
Experience in go-to-market strategies and product portfolio management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
