Job Title: Senior Civil Estimator Job Location: Roswell, GA
Salary: $100K-155k
Requirements: 5+ years of civil estimating and project management experience. Earthwork, grading, underground utilities and HCSS Heavy Bid experience required.
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Civil Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating project costs and managing project execution in the civil construction sector, focusing on earthwork and underground utilities. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects including earthwork and underground utilities.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather quotes and ensure competitive pricing.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to stay on track.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients and subcontractors.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an estimator and project manager in civil construction.
- Proficiency in HCSS Heavybid software for estimating purposes.
- Strong knowledge of earthwork and underground utility projects.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
