Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Onsite, Cranbury & South Plainfield NJ

Position Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Finance Senior Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the company’s general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and performing cost accounting analysis to support operation. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, cost allocation, and financial controls, with the ability to partner across departments to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely recording of transactions, reconcile and analyze the general ledger (GL) to ensure accurate.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Execute cost accounting activities, including R&D project cost allocation and variance analysis.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, preparing the disclose note for publication reports.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax requirements, and internal accounting policies.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, as well as tax reviews and filings.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports to support business planning.
• Identify and implement process improvements and policy to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
• Review payments application and process payment in e-bank.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in general ledger and cost accounting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, QuickBook).
• Advanced skills in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
