POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team supporting the EECO brand. This role is hybrid, with flexibility to work remotely but requires being onsite in Richmond, IN approximately 25% of the time. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position plays a critical role in overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and driving process improvements. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FINANCIAL REPORTING -Prepare monthly financial statements -Support site leadership with financial inquiries -Complete month-end close tasks including bank reconciliations and journal entries -Coordinate with FP&A team for consolidated reporting GENERAL LEDGER MANAGEMENT -Oversee and maintain the general ledger -Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules -Review and post daily AR and AP entries -Analyze inventory adjustments and cost variances COMPLIANCE AND AUDIT -Support external audits and prepare schedules -File monthly sales tax returns and regulatory filings -Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures PROCESS IMPROVEMENT -Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements -Partner with external system consultants -Train and support finance staff -Share best practices at the site level JOB REQUIREMENTS -Bachelors degree in Accounting -2 or more years of public accounting experience -2 to 7 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment -Strong knowledge of inventory accounting -Ability to travel up to 25% to site locations
