Position Summary

Greensburg Central Catholic is seeking a reliable School Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The custodian plays an essential role in supporting daily school operations and upholding a positive learning environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, cafeteria, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors; empty trash and recycling.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms daily.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning and restroom supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Seasonal maintenance as needed.
• Secure buildings by locking doors.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to administration promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to operate custodial equipment and cleaning tools safely.
• Ability to lift up to [50] pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Must successfully complete background checks and clearances as required.
