Role-SAP S/4HANA PP-QM Lead Consultant

As an SAP S/4HANA PP-QM Lead Consultant , you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the SAP Production Planning (PP) module within the S/4HANA environment. Your role involves leading full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations, managing roll-out and support projects, and ensuring effective integration of the PP module with other SAP modules. You will leverage your expertise in production planning, quality management, and manufacturing processes to drive efficiency and meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation Experience:
• Full Lifecycle Implementations: Lead at least 1 or 2 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations for the SAP PP module, managing all phases from Project Preparation through to Go-Live.
• Oversee and contribute to one or two roll-out or support projects, ensuring successful adaptation and functionality of SAP PP in different operational contexts.
• Production Planning Processes:
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Configure and manage MRP processes to ensure accurate planning and availability of materials.
• Implement production orders, and ensure seamless execution of manufacturing processes.
• Master Data Management: Oversee the setup and maintenance of master data related to production planning, including BOMs (Bills of Materials), routings, and work centers.
• Ensure data integrity and alignment with business requirements.
• SAP QM Integration:
• Quality Management: Apply knowledge of SAP QM to manage quality planning, quality inspection, and quality control processes within the manufacturing environment.
• Ensure effective integration of QM processes with SAP PP to support consistent product quality and compliance.
• Cross-Module Integration:
• Integration with Other Modules: Ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules including MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and PM (Plant Maintenance).
• Collaborate with functional leads to address integration points and resolve any issues that arise during project implementation.
• Manufacturing and Quality Management:
• Process Understanding:
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management practices.
• Leverage this knowledge to optimize production planning and ensure efficient and effective manufacturing operations.
• Production Strategies:
• Apply knowledge of different production strategies, including discrete, process, repetitive, and just-in-time manufacturing.
• Configure and implement strategies that align with business objectives and manufacturing requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1 or 2 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations involving SAP PP, demonstrating end-to-end project management expertise.
• Experience managing roll-out and support projects related to SAP PP.
• Proven experience in configuring and optimizing production planning processes.
• Skills:
• Strong expertise in SAP PP configuration and implementation, including MRP, production orders, and master data management.
• Knowledge of SAP QM processes and integration with SAP PP.
• Familiarity with SAP modules MM, SD, and PM and their interaction with SAP PP.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications:
• SAP certification in Production Planning or related areas is preferred.
• Experience with Specific Technologies:
• Experience with advanced SAP technologies or additional modules related to manufacturing and quality management is a plus.
