🚧 Safety Manager – Leading National General Contractor | South Florida | Construction

On behalf of a leading national general contractor, known for delivering high-profile projects across sectors like luxury residential, mixed-use, education, and sports, is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join its team in South Florida.

About the Role:

This is a site-based Safety Manager role reporting to the Director of Environmental Health & Safety. The successful candidate will help lead and implement all EH&S initiatives at the project level, partnering with both internal teams and trade contractors to maintain an exemplary safety culture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading daily safety meetings, site inspections, orientations, and training
• Investigating incidents and ensuring corrective actions are taken
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and other regulatory standards
• Maintaining all safety documentation and reports (TRIR, OSHA logs, etc.)
• Inspiring and fostering a culture of proactive safety ownership on site

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–6 years of construction safety experience with a general contractor
• Degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field (Associate's or Bachelor's)
• CHST or STS certification required; CSP preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with OCIP/CCIP and safety data platforms (Intelex preferred)
