Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team in a dynamic construction environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment on-site. This role is essential for maintaining workflow and supporting various construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rigging equipment to lift, move, and position heavy loads.
• Collaborate with team members to determine the best rigging methods for each task.
• Inspect rigging equipment for safety compliance and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Utilize various heavy machinery such as cranes, excavators, dozers, loaders, and backhoes to assist in construction activities.
• Operate commercial vehicles including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks as required.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed while working on construction sites.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.

Experience

• Proven experience in a construction environment is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience operating heavy machinery including but not limited to concrete mixers, cranes, excavators, dozers, loaders, and farm machinery.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is preferred.

• MUST BE ABLE TO EITHER DAYS OR NIGHT SHIFT
