Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Portland, OR

Duration: 8 months

Note: 100% Onsite - Only Locals

What You’ll Do:

• Performs basic routine inspection of electronic, electro-mechanical and/or mechanical materials, components and sub-assemblies received, in process of manufacture, or manufactured, for conformance with quality assurance standards.
• Able to use an optical microscope to perform visual inspections for extended periods of time
• Able to perform dimensional inspections with rulers and basic measurement equipment using inspection instruction documentation
• Able to work with production equipment, including small hand tools, test equipment, and precision measuring instruments

What we are looking for:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum 3-5 years medical device or related assembly/inspection experience.
• Prior experience working in an air-conditioned, cleanroom manufacturing environment is required.
• Related experience in the assembly and/or quality inspection of Class III implantable medical devices, Class II medical devices, or micro-electronics.
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand engineering drawings, inspection instructions that use schematics, diagrams, notes, and layouts.
