Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Manager
Location: Canada (Remote)
Duration : 6+ Months
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the QA team (manual and/or automation testers) across multiple projects.
Develop, implement, and oversee QA strategies, processes, and best practices.
Define test plans, test cases, and oversee test execution and defect management.
Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality from concept to release.
Ensure timely identification, logging, tracking, and resolution of software defects.
Evaluate and select testing tools and technologies, including automation frameworks.
Drive the implementation of test automation to support CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor and report on QA metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts.
Conduct regular QA reviews and post-release evaluations.
Minimum 7 years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven track record of leading QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment across time zones.
Experience in [insert industry, e.g., SaaS, Healthcare, Finance].
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
