We are seeking a Public Relations Intern to join our LA team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of public relations and communications. As a Public Relations Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a dynamic PR department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting press releases, media alerts, and other communication materials
- Conduct market research and analysis to support PR campaigns
- Collaborate with team members on PR strategies and initiatives
- Assist in organizing and coordinating PR events and activities
- Support social media efforts to enhance brand visibility
- Proofread and edit written materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to style guidelines
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write clearly and effectively
- Proficiency in conducting research and analyzing data
- Familiarity with public relations principles and practices
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of proofreading techniques
This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of public relations while working closely with seasoned professionals.
This role is in person, for 2-3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday). We can be flexible on hours, and we are looking for applicants who are available to start ASAP.
Pay: In Office stipend - $25.00 per day. Remote stipend - $10.00 per day.
