Position Name: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Location: Encino, CA or Costa Mesa, CA
Employment Type: Direct-Hire & Permanent
Setting: Concierge | Integrative Medicine | Mental Wellness Clinic
Pay: $156,000-$190,000 annually
Shift: Full-Time | Regular Business Hours
Qualifications:
Required:
- PMHNP license in California.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with psychiatric-mental health specialization.
- PMHNP certification through ANCC or a certifying body.
- Active DEA license or eligible to obtain one.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to client-centered, compassionate care delivery.
Preferred:
- Experience with integrative psychiatry or brain-based treatment approaches.
- Familiarity with holistic care models addressing mind, body, and brain.
- Background in functional medicine or lifestyle-based mental health interventions.
- Passion for mental wellness and preventive psychiatric care.
Job Summary:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a client-centered environment free from insurance time constraints.
- Develop and implement integrative treatment plans addressing brain health, lifestyle factors, and psychiatric history.
- Conduct extended appointments to build meaningful therapeutic relationships and deepen client understanding.
- Deliver evidence-based care that treats the whole person rather than isolated symptoms.
- Educate and empower clients about brain health principles and mental wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, functional medicine providers, and specialists for integrated care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation.
- Create a welcoming, calming atmosphere that prioritizes client comfort and experience.
- Approach every interaction with empathy, professionalism, and commitment to healing.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with psychiatric care innovations.
