About the Role

The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate industrial mechanical construction projects from start to finish. This role involves managing all aspects of project execution — from estimating and scheduling to procurement, installation, and close-out.

The Project Manager will serve as the main point of contact between clients, internal teams, and field crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of assigned projects, including estimating, scheduling, procurement, and field execution.
  • Oversee design review, submittals, and coordination of engineering documents with clients and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and track project budgets, forecasts, and change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits, monitor field progress, and coordinate with supervisors and foremen to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to keep communication clear and projects on schedule.
  • Support development of construction drawings, equipment layouts, and fabrication details as needed.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and project close-out packages.
  • Promote and enforce company safety policies and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Proven experience managing industrial or mechanical construction projects.
  • Strong background in construction or manufacturing environments (mechanical systems, fabrication, or millwright work preferred).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, budgets, and scheduling software.
  • Must be available to work on-site full time in Dalton, GA.
